Road vehicles - Vehicle to grid communication interface - Part 1: General information and use-case definition (ISO 15118-1:2019)

This document, as a basis for the other parts of the ISO 15118 series, specifies terms and definitions, general requirements and use cases for conductive and wireless HLC between the EVCC and the SECC.
This document is applicable to HLC involved in conductive and wireless power transfer technologies in the context of manual or automatic connection devices.
This document is also applicable to energy transfer either from EV supply equipment to charge the EV battery or from EV battery to EV supply equipment in order to supply energy to home, to loads or to the grid.
This document provides a general overview and a common understanding of aspects influencing identification, association, charge or discharge control and optimisation, payment, load levelling, cybersecurity and privacy. It offers an interoperable EV-EV supply equipment interface to all e-mobility actors beyond SECC.
The ISO 15118 series does not specify the vehicle internal communication between battery and other internal equipment (beside some dedicated message elements related to the energy transfer).
NOTE 1    Electric road vehicles specifically are vehicles in categories M (used for carriage of passengers) and N (used for carriage of goods) (compare ECE/TR ANS/WP.29/78 ev.2). This does not prevent vehicles in other categories from adopting the ISO 15118 series as well.
NOTE 2    This document is destined to orientate the message set of ISO 15118‑2 and ISO 15118‑20[1]. The absence of any particular use case in this document does not imply that it will not be put into practice, with the required messages.
NOTE 3    This document, ISO 15118‑2 and ISO 15118‑20 are designed to work independent of data transfer medium used. However, the ISO 15118 series is made for fitting the specified data link layers in the corresponding documents in this series.

Le présent document, qui sert de base aux autres parties de l'ISO 15118, spécifie les termes et définitions, les exigences générales et les cas d'utilisation relatifs à la communication de haut niveau, par câble ou sans fil, entre le dispositif de contrôle de communication d'un véhicule électrique (EVCC) et le dispositif de contrôle de communication d'équipement d'alimentation (SECC).
Le présent document s'applique à la communication de haut niveau impliquée dans les technologies de transfert de puissance par câble et sans fil, dans le contexte de dispositifs de connexion manuelle ou automatique.
Le présent document s'applique également au transfert d'énergie de l'infrastructure de recharge au VE pour recharger la batterie du VE ou de la batterie du VE à l'infrastructure de recharge pour VE afin de fournir de l'énergie à une maison, à des charges ou au réseau électrique.
Le présent document donne un aperçu général et une compréhension commune des aspects ayant une incidence sur l'identification, l'association, le contrôle et l'optimisation de la charge ou de la décharge, le paiement, le nivellement de la charge, la cybersécurité et le respect de la vie privée. Il propose une interface VE-infrastructure de recharge pour VE interopérable à tous les acteurs de la mobilité électrique au-delà du SECC.
La série ISO 15118 ne spécifie pas la communication interne au véhicule entre la batterie et d'autres équipements internes (en dehors de quelques éléments de message relatifs au transfert d'énergie).
NOTE 1    Les véhicules routiers électriques sont spécifiquement des véhicules de catégories M (utilisés pour le transport de passagers) et N (utilisés pour le transport de marchandises) (voir l'ECE/TR ANS/WP.29/78 ev.2). Cela n'empêche pas l'adoption de l'ISO 15118 par des véhicules appartenant à d'autres catégories.
NOTE 2    Le présent document est destiné à orienter l'ensemble de messages de ISO 15118‑2 et de l'ISO 15118‑20[1]. L'absence de tout cas d'utilisation particulier dans le présent document n'implique pas qu'elle ne doit pas être mise en œuvre, avec les messages requis.
NOTE 3    Le présent document, l'ISO 15118‑2 et l'ISO 15118‑20 sont conçues pour être applicables indépendamment du support de transfert de données utilisé. Ta dokument kot podlaga za druge dele skupine standardov ISO 15118 določa izraze in definicije, splošne zahteve in primere uporabe za kabelsko in brezžično komunikacijo na visoki ravni (HLC) med komunikacijskim krmilnikom električnega vozila (EVCC) in komunikacijskim krmilnikom opreme za napajanje (SECC). Ta dokument se uporablja za komunikacijo na visoki ravni, ki je vključena v tehnologijah kabelskega in brezžičnega prenosa moči v okviru ročnih ali avtomatskih priključnih naprav.
Ta dokument se uporablja tudi za prenos energije od opreme za napajanje električnih vozil za polnjenje akumulatorja električnega vozila ali od akumulatorja električnega vozila do opreme za napajanje električnih vozil za prenos energije v dom, obremenitve ali v omrežje.
Ta dokument podaja splošen pregled in razumevanje vidikov, ki vplivajo na identifikacijo, povezavo, nadzor in optimizacijo polnjenja ali praznjenja, plačilo, uravnavanje obremenitve, kibernetsko varnost in zasebnost. Ponuja interoperabilni vmesnik opreme za napajanje EV-EV za vse akterje e-mobilnosti, ki presega komunikacijski krmilnik opreme za napajanje.
Skupina standardov ISO 15118 ne določa notranje komunikacije v vozilu med akumulatorjem in drugo notranjo opremo (razen nekaterih namenskih elementov sporočila v zvezi s prenosom energije).
OPOMBA 1: Električna cestna vozil so zlasti vozila v kategorijah M (uporabljajo se za prevoz potnikov) in N (uporabljajo se za prevoz blaga) (primerjaj ECE/TR ANS/WP.29/78 ev.2). To ne preprečuje, da bi tudi vozila v drugih kategorijah sprejela skupino standardov ISO 15118.
OPOMBA 2: Ta dokument je namenjen usmerjanju niza sporočil iz standardov ISO 15118-2 in ISO 15118-201. Odsotnost
katerega koli primera uporabe v tem dokumentu ne pomeni, da se ne bo izvajal v praksi z zahtevanimi sporočili.
OPOMBA 3: Ta dokument ter standarda ISO 15118-2 in ISO 15118-20 so zasnovani, da delujejo neodvisno od uporabljenega medija za prenos

This document (EN ISO 15118-1:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 22 "Road
vehicles" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 301 “Road vehicles” the secretariat of
which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2019, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 15118-1:2015.
