Polyolefin pipes for the conveyance of fluids - Determination of resistance to crack propagation - Test method for slow crack growth on notched pipes (ISO 13479:2009)

ISO 13479:2009 specifies a test method for determining the resistance to slow crack growth of polyolefin pipes, expressed in terms of time to failure in a hydrostatic pressure test on a pipe with machined longitudinal notches in the outside surface. The test is applicable to pipes of wall thickness greater than 5 mm.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Widerstandes gegen langsames
Risswachstum von Rohren aus Polyolefinen fest, ausgedrückt als Versagenszeit bei einer Prüfung unter
hydrostatischem Druck an einem Rohr mit in die Außenoberfläche eingefrästen Längskerben. Die Prüfung ist
anwendbar für Rohre mit einer Wanddicke > 5 mm

L'ISO 13479:2009 spécifie une méthode de détermination de la résistance des tubes en polyoléfine à la propagation lente d'une fissure, exprimée en fonction du temps de rupture, sous une contrainte hydrostatique, d'un tube entaillé longitudinalement par usinage sur sa surface extérieure. L'essai est applicable aux tubes de plus de 5 mm d'épaisseur.

Cevi iz poliolefinov za transport tekočin - Ugotavljanje odpornosti proti širjenju razpoke - Metoda za preskus počasnega širjenja razpoke na zarezani cevi (ISO 13479:2009)

Ta mednarodni standard opredeljuje preskusno metodo ugotavljanja odpornosti proti počasnemu širjenju razpoke cevi iz poliolefinov, izraženo v potrebnem času do uničenja, ob preskusnem hidrostatičnem tlaku na cevi s strojno obdelanimi longitudinalnimi zarezami na zunanji površini. Preskus velja za  cevi z debelino stene, večjo od 5 mm.

fittings and valves for the transport of fluids" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 “Plastics
piping systems and ducting systems” the secretariat of which is held by NEN.
